Advent

As we enter advent (the liturgical season of waiting), we want to give ourselves to two robust Christian practices: celebration and service

Worship

We will gather for worship on Sunday mornings, and through December, we will give special attention to the Incarnation as Mission during our Advent series.

Service

Our deacons are encouraging us to gather in smaller groups (friends, families, neighbors, home groups, etc.) and serve in different areas of our city. They have compiled this excellent resource to get you started and fuel ideas.

Celebration

Several folks are hosting Advent Dinners as occasions for singing, laughing, and feasting. Go here to sign up and attend one of our dinners, or email Advent DInners if you are interested in hosting or helping.

Philippians: Orthodoxy Found in Paradox

In our current series, we are walking through Paul's letter to the Philippians, and in it, we find the beauty of Christ and the majesty of following him through a series of paradoxes:

Christ is exalted through his self-emptying action.

We are called to greatness through service.

Christian discipleship and practice a diligent rest.

Joy is often found in suffering.

The certainty of Christ's work and the peace he gives, propels us into a lifelong struggle in ever-deepening maturity.
