Join us to celebrate the resurrection on Easter morning.
Peacocks are known for their ability to eat and digest plants and animals that are harmful or poisonous to others including scorpions and some poisonous snakes. Early Christian art used representations of the peacock or its feathers as a quiet symbol for resurrection.
Ash Wednesday begins our season of Lent - 40 days of fasting & 6 days of feasting - leading up to Easter and our celebration of Christ's resurrection. This is a time for reflection, prayer, and service, as we consider Jesus' suffering for us, and the call to deny our own comforts and ease in the course of following him.
