The focus of Daniel and Rachel's ministry is on sustainable community development through training and facilitation. Daniel promotes livestock health through village farmer trainings, animal breeding programs, and livestock revolving loans. Working with our partner's (CLIDE) administration team, Rachel serves through her giftings in financial management, technology, and human resources. She is also involved in student/orphan ministry and with a women's groups in the local village.

Daniel graduated from Oregon State University's veterinary school in 2009 and then studied International Animal Health from the University of Edinburgh. Rachel has a degree in Business Administration from Warner Pacific in Portland, OR. They were married in March 2011 and moved to Uganda in September 2012. Rachel has previously served on a long-term team in Mexico City under a different mission agency while Daniel has been involved in CVM's short-term missions program since 2004.

Brian and Gail are natives of Georgia and Tennessee, respectively, and are graduates of the University of Georgia, where they met through their involvement with RUF and the local church (and through playing lots of Frisbee). After college (and a year of carpentry work for Brian), they got married and served as interns with RUF at the University of Missouri for a couple of years, and then moved to Philadelphia, where Brian earned a Masters of Divinity from Westminster Theological Seminary. Brian and Gail love outdoor recreation – especially hiking, biking, canoeing, and Frisbee – and their favorite things to do in Boise include walking in the foothills, biking on the Greenbelt, floating the river, and watching games on the ‘Smurf Turf.

Christ Central Presbyterian Church is a new, Christian community in Corvallis, OR. We are rooted in the belief that the historic, Christian Gospel of Jesus Christ is true, compelling, and transformative. It is through the Gospel that our lives, families, and communities are transformed by God's grace

My wife, Dolly, and I believe that God has uniquely called and prepared us for church planting in Oregon. We are both Northwest natives and are passionate about bringing the Gospel to the people in this region.
For years, we have prayed for the Lord to lead us back to the Northwest to an area in desperate need of the Gospel and a grace-centered church. We have fervently prayed for him to give us a heart and love for the people. He has answered our prayers in giving us a heart for the city of Corvallis. With much excitement, Dolly and I look forward to bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the people of Corvallis.
